Brisbane Portside Warf

P & O's Pacific Sun at Portside Warf
Portside Wharf, Brisbane, is a $750 million development by Multiplex, located on the southern edge of the Gateway Bridge at Hamilton Wharf and is Brisbane’s first world-class commercial international cruise terminal. Ocean liners, super yachts and expedition ships dock at its international wharf on average once a week, although due to height restrictions the larger ocean liners dock now north of the Gateway at Pinkenba Wharf.
It is also an upscale residential and retail precinct including restaurants, shops, Dendy films cinema and a public plaza. The precinct is commonly filled with tourists who arrive by ship, in addition to locals who often arrive by CityCat.
The Wharf is the Brisbane home for the P & O liner the Pacific Sun. As of March 2010, the Brisbane Cruise Terminal will cater for the Pacific Dawn, and act as an additional hub for the cruise ship. The arrival of the ship will place $10 Million into the Local Economy, making Brisbane the second largest cruise port in Australia.
